ESG as a Response to Changing Market Needs

During the event, the results of the ESG4PMChange project were presented, with particular attention given to their practical value for future project managers and other professionals.

Participants discussed how environmental, social, and governance principles can be integrated into project management and related business areas. Special emphasis was placed on the links between ESG-based approaches, business management, and marketing, as well as on the need for stronger integration of ESG principles into contemporary marketing practices.

The event highlighted that ESG should not be viewed solely as a regulatory or administrative obligation, but also as a practical approach that can help organisations and project teams respond to changing market needs.

Bringing Together Perspectives from Economics and Engineering

The event brought together undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, and academic staff from the Department of Management Science and Technology. Participants came from the fields of economics and engineering, enabling the exchange of different perspectives on the role of ESG in projects and business.

The discussions also opened opportunities for future research in this field. Particular interest was expressed in developing PhD research that could connect ESG principles with project management, marketing, and business management.

From Interest to New Opportunities for Cooperation

Participants recognised the results of the ESG4PMChange project as relevant and practically valuable for future project managers and professionals. They also expressed interest in further cooperation and participation in future project activities.

Information about the event and the project was shared with the support of the academic staff of the Department of Management Science and Technology, helping to strengthen the project’s visibility within the academic community.
