Shaping the Future of Project Management with ESG Principles
In a world where sustainability, ethical governance, and social responsibility are shaping the future of business, project management must evolve to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. ESG4PMChange is an innovative initiative designed to embed ESG competencies into project management education and professional training. By bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs, this project equips project managers with the skills necessary to lead sustainable, responsible, and future-proof projects.
The project brings together 14 partners from 6 European countries, including universities, vocational education providers, professional organizations, and industry leaders. Over a 36-month period, ESG4PMChange will develop new educational frameworks, competency models, and digital learning resources to redefine project management for the ESG era.
Project management is about delivering change-but without Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)principles, that change risks being unsustainable. Today, ESG is essential for compliance, innovation, and long-term success.
