Within the framework of the Short Time Study Abroad in SEE/CEE – Excursion 2025 programme, international visiting students had the opportunity to explore key ESG concepts and their application in project management through a dedicated ESG4PMChange project presentation. The session was hosted at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, University of Split, as part of the students’ international learning experience focused on contemporary business and sustainability challenges.

The presentation was delivered to students from the Institute for Corporate Management (Institut für Unternehmensführung), Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, and focused on the growing importance of ESG standards in contemporary project management practices. Participants were introduced to the objectives, scope, and educational focus of the ESG4PMChange project, with particular emphasis on how ESG competencies can support responsible decision-making and long-term value creation.

Participants included undergraduate and graduate students taking part in a short-term international mobility programme. The session was well received, with students actively engaging in the discussion. Several participants asked insightful questions regarding the practical implementation of ESG principles in real-world business operations, highlighting strong interest in applying sustainability concepts within project management frameworks.

The event contributed to strengthening international academic exchange and promoting ESG-oriented thinking among future project professionals.
