The ESG4PMChange project team presented its educational framework, proposed curricula and training materials to representatives of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów (UITM) organised the online consultation to explore how the skills that learners develop through the project’s programmes relate to the requirements of professional practice.
Researchers and project management experts discussed how university courses and professional training can equip learners to apply environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and use digital tools when managing projects. They considered the IPMA Student certification pathway as a possible reference for assessing and recognising the competencies students develop through the programmes.
IPMA representatives welcomed the quality of the training materials and their relevance to the green and digital transitions. Participants shared their experience of designing curricula that reflect professional standards and explored opportunities to work together on the education of future project managers.
