A dynamic event organized by the Sustainable Development Office (Biuro Zrównoważonego Rozwoju) brought together students, professionals, and changemakers for an interactive day focused on integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into project management.

The event aimed to introduce ESG concepts in the context of project management, empower participants to apply them in practice, and foster collaboration among individuals committed to sustainable development. Through a series of lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities, attendees explored how ESG can drive long-term value, reduce environmental impact, and promote positive societal change.

Participants included:

  • Project managers from diverse sectors
  • Students and professionals in environmental science, business, and social responsibility
  • Representatives from sustainability-focused organizations

The workshops received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Attendees highlighted the engaging format and practical value of the sessions. In particular, the interactive exercises helped solidify understanding of ESG principles and sparked discussions about how to implement them in real-world projects.

While the event was praised for its clarity and relevance, some participants suggested including more in-depth sector-specific breakout sessions and real-world case studies in future editions to better tailor the content to different professional backgrounds.

The event was promoted via targeted email campaigns sent to universities and sustainability professionals. Invitations also reached project management networks and organizations working in corporate responsibility, helping ensure a relevant and engaged audience.

By equipping participants with knowledge and tools to apply ESG principles in their work, the event made a strong contribution to the ongoing transformation of communities through sustainable project practices.
