Kick-Off Meeting Highlights: The Blueprint for ESG-Focused Project Management Education
Following the kick-off opening, the working session within the consortium brought together 37 participants. The first day covered a strategic overview of the project, providing a clear understanding of project management methodology, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing quality assurance, monitoring, and control processes. This ensured that all partners had a clear understanding of their contributions and how to ensure the successful implementation of the project. The day concluded with a visit to the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad.
During the second day, partners focused on specific deliverables within the work packages, exploring the development of professional profiles for ESG project managers and the creation of a learning framework that will incorporate ESG competencies into project management education. These discussions will shape the educational resources and tools to be developed throughout the project.
Next Steps
With the foundations now in place, the ESG4PMChange project is moving forward with the development of a competency framework for ESG project managers. The next phases will include creating educational materials and digital learning resources, which will equip project managers with the skills to lead sustainable projects across Europe.
Stay tuned for updates as the project continues to shape the future of project management education!
