A specialized education session titled “Sustainable Business in Action: Manage the Process of Creating Your ESG Report” brought together professionals from corporate and NGO sectors to explore how ESG principles can be systematically embedded into organizational processes. Hosted by Advise Institute and Energy Net Academy, the event focused on equipping participants with practical insights and frameworks for managing ESG reporting in alignment with project-based approaches.
This session also served as a platform for presenting the ESG4PMChange project, led by Marijana Topo (Energy Net) and dr. Dušan Stojaković (ESG EDU LAB). Their presentation emphasized the project’s potential to improve ESG practices across institutions by applying Sustainable Project Management (SPM) principles — offering structured, impactful tools to enhance sustainability infrastructure in Serbia and beyond.

Participants were introduced to the key idea that ESG reporting should not be treated as a compliance task, but as a strategic project in itself — requiring planning, stakeholder engagement, and measurable impact.
From Theory to Action: Interactive Learning with Lasting Impact
Organized as a hybrid of lectures and workshops, the session was divided into four practical segments, allowing participants to reflect on ESG challenges while engaging with real-world examples. The agenda focused on:
- The fundamentals of ESG frameworks and their relevance to modern business
- The process of compiling ESG reports using project management methodologies
- Interactive discussions on integrating sustainability into core business strategies
- Opportunities for collaboration and involvement in the ESG4PMChange project
Approximately 15 participants from Vojvodina and broader urban areas in Serbia attended, all aged between 25–45 and with strong academic and professional backgrounds. Their interest in sustainable business practices and readiness to adopt new tools positioned them as a valuable target group for ESG4PMChange dissemination and engagement.
