Future Food Institute-FFI

Future Food Institute (FFI) is an international foundation established with the aim of addressing global challenges through education and innovation in agri-food systems. With a future-oriented approach, FFI develops educational programmes that prepare tomorrow’s leaders to drive change towards sustainable development models, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Through collaborations with universities of excellence and a number of UN agencies (FAO and UNESCO), FFI has created numerous educational programmes, bachelor’s, master’s, executive programmes and above all learning weeks and bootcamps, immersive experiences to train changemakers globally.
Closing (Ongoing Projects and Key Expertize):
The Paideia Campus in Pollica, an international research and training centre, stands out for its offsite programmes, which are geared towards integral ecological development and the enhancement of the Mediterranean Diet as a model of sustainability. The campus offers immersive learning experiences to Italian and international students, with a focus on ecology, innovation and social regeneration.

FFI is a pioneer in educational innovation research, with the publication of ‘Seminare il futuro’ published by Giunti Scuola, a guide that introduces a transformative approach to education, based on interdisciplinary methods and the active involvement of students. This method is applied in its programmes, ranging from primary education to post-graduate training, via bootcamps and educational hackathons for students and teachers.
